What Is The Mind Fitness Method?

The mind fitness method was developed after three years of trying everything I could get my hands on in search of this internal happiness people were talking about. I read science, spiritual and coaching books if it had mind or mindset on it, I was consuming it. I tested meditation, chanting, silent retreats, different types of yoga, frequency music, workshops and group coaching.

I even when to a psychic, reiki healer, did wim hoffs breathing and got my bars done. I tried different foods and fasting, talking to my body and mind, manifestations, affirmations and mantras. And what did I learn in my three years of being a test monkey.

That not one thing will work forever, unless you want to be sitting for hours just meditating like the Buddhist Monks, but they also use chanting.

For the average joe blogs like you and I, time is precious, we want the happy mind, but we just don’t want to spend too much time doing it. We have all heard the great effects and trust me I know they are worth it. But we want it in bite sizes that are manageable and from someone that you can resonate with that has gone through the same journey. Am I right?

I would get a hit from starting something new and feel like I’ve cracked it. It’s like that high you get when you hit a personal best in sports. But guess what happens after? You start to work towards a new personal best and that’s exactly what happens with the mind.

For example, in my first year I would love to journal I would write all my negative out on a piece of paper and feel amazing afterwards. But then as my negative thoughts left me I was just writing things I was grateful for each day, it just started to get a bit boring, had to change it up to what my future goals are.

I had to change my training and workouts to match where I was now. I also learnt that something would work great for some people but not for all. One size does not fit all and if anyone tells you that run the other way.

Your mind is made up of the experiences that you’ve had in this world and it’s completely unique to you. This is one of my favourite sayings ‘NO ONE THINKS LIKE YOU’ so how could one method work for everyone. It’s why I developed this program so that each week you can try different mind tools and take the ones you like and throw away the ones that don’t work for you right now. This program is aimed at the busy professional that is stressed out, overworking, self-critical and feeling stuck in life. They know that a mind practise would help, but just haven’t found the time. They want support from a coach and fellow group members to keep them accountable. It’s like a CrossFit gym for the mind some workouts you’re going to smash out and get a great time others your going to crash and burn but you’ll always have your mind fitness buddies to keep you going.

I believe that the mind should be used for you and not against you and that’s why I developed this program for people just like you. I bring laughter into my workouts and humour as everything is better when you’re laughing.

This isn’t for the serious people that want to sit crossed legged for hours and be enlightened. This is for the working Jo that can spare ten minutes a day to do some mind stuff that will help ease the busy mind. If you turn into an hour meditator in a year from now, then so be it!

Just ten minutes is all I’m asking as everyone’s got that to spare to get a happy mind? You will repeat the same workout for seven days and then it’s completely up to you if you want to keep that one and add another next week or simply stay with the one you like most.
